I love working with students and teachers. The majority of my teaching experience has been at the secondary level in a large and highly complex school system. In the same context my time as a Staff Developer and Instructional specialist has afforded me the opportunity to understand and contribute to the world of K-18 education.
As each teacher has the potential to impact countless lives, there are enormous ethical, moral, and social responsibilities connected to our profession. In light of this, I strive to link my teaching methods to learner needs to make learning experiential, meaningful, and applicable to the learners. To accomplish this, the following methods reflect my teaching style and are indicative of the educational experiences I wish to create: positive environment, inquiry, visuals, use of music, relevance, high expectations with low stress, collaboration, movement, and feedback.

I know I do not have many resources up considering the length of time I have been a member of this site, but now that my educational journey is slowing down, I hope to put more up. My main goal on this site, as true in my career, is to assist teachers and students through creative and educational resources. I am dedicated to education and will email you back if you have any questions. I am not Audra, Audra is my rescue dog and she is truly on a learning journey of sorts!
