TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my second year as a teacher! I taught Kinder my first year and got to move up with my kiddos to first grade this year. I love what I do and try to stay creative and engaged!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in allowing my students to be responsible for their own learning and having ownership over their products and pacing. I have a very structured classroom with strict expectations of my students, but I do believe in a student centered education!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended the University of Texas in Austin for a Bachelor's degree in communication and business foundations. After working in the corporate world for a few years, I decided to go back and become a teacher. I received my certification and began substitute teaching to gain experience and make connections. The following year, I got my dream Kinder job and absolutely love my school! :)
