I am currently a school social worker in a high school and work with all students (Gen. Ed & Special Ed) in grades 9-12. Not only do I provide one-on-one interventions, I run groups as well as teach an elective class every quarter. I used to be a classroom teacher and have taught 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade and a classroom of infants and toddlers. I have experience in Title I (K-6) and MN Reading Corps (K-3). The journey I have been on has shaped me into someone who constantly works at figuring out what children need most. It's been an extremely interesting journey, but I wouldn't change any part of it!
Teach to the standards meeting the needs of my students. Doing it all with a twist!
