TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught in a self-contained classroom for 6 years in a private school for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. For the last two years I worked hard to start up a brand new ASD self contained classroom in a public high school and it has been such a rewarding challenge :)

MY TEACHING STYLE

Teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, I utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis each day. If there is one thing I've learned, it's that individualization is key for teaching students whose needs are SO different from one another! My students are truly unique, and so I have developed a unique teaching style over the years!
