TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently teaching 7th grade ELA; however, for the first few years of my career, I bounced between grade levels to find my real love here. I taught one year of 11th grade English, one year of 9th, 10th, and 12th grade English, and finally landed where I currently teach.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in teaching my kids how to think and how to view information with open minds, and from several perspectives. I teach through modelling and by pushing my students out of their comfortable boundaries. I find that when my expectations are higher than they believe they can reach, my students perform at a level that builds their confidence and makes them believe that they can achieve anything.
