TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught the following undergraduate and graduate courses in German Language: - Wortschatz - Lecture - Leseverstehen - Hoerverstehen - Sprechen - Methodology of teaching - Glottodidactics In teaching those courses I regularly share ideas, perspectives, and materials. With over ten years teaching experience, I have been teaching middle and high school German in Poland, Germany, Denmark and Finland. I also have a year's experience of teaching elementary school German and pre-K in New York. I am a publisher and translator of technical character too. "Buch über Hype" is the German translation of "A Book About Hype". (Hype is Mac only software that is used to add interactivity to websites and iBooks.) On the US store, "A Book About Hype" reached the #1 spot on the Computer and Internet section of the iTunes Book Store. The book contains interactive examples that were built with Hype.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Most importantly, I care about my students as people. On the first day of class I ask my students to tell me about their hobbies and interests so that I may incorporate as much of this information into classroom activities as possible. I encourage them to talk about themselves, and I share my daily life with them as well.
