I have been a teacher for 28 years. I also write for a national publisher, contributing regularly to the kindergarten editions of two teacher's magazines. I have contributed to some books as well. I love creating meaningful learning materials that are fun, inviting and offer easily attainable success!

I love teaching! I so wish someone else could come take care of everything besides working with the kids and creating fun, but meaningful, activities for them. I believe in having high standards for all children and giving them the tools they need to meet learning goals. A five year old's day should be filled with fun and adventure...even if they spend it in a classroom!

I began writing freelance for the Education Center in 2008 and have been contribulting several items to each issue of Mailbox Magazine and Teacher's Helper at the kindergarten level. I create reproducibles, games, literacy units, writing activities, etc. I have also contributed to four books published the TEC.

In addition to my teaching and writing career, I am a multimedia artist. I primarily work with watercolors and paint rustic images of leaves, trees and barns. I have recently begun to show work at arts and crafts fairs and have been invited to join (show and sell my work at) a local gallery which will open next season. (A life long dream!)
