TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have certifications in History and Social Studies Composite. I have 23 Years in Public Education teaching all manner of Social Studies. I have taught World Geography, World History, U.S. History, Government and Economics. In addition to these,I have also taught AP U.S. History and AP World History. I am also trained to teach AP Economics. I have also taught several classes of English of which I am also certified.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style is very eclectic. I don't like to lecture but do when I must. Most of the time I try to inject a bit of fun into my classes.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I received many awards over the years; Teacher of the Year at Memorial High School 2003, and Runner up for the Reaud Teaching Award just to name a few.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I keep learning. The more I learn the more I need to learn. My students are also my great teachers.
