TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I currently teach a 3rd through 5th grade classroom for children with moderate to severe autism in California. I used to teach the littles (kindergarten through 2nd grade) and am ready for a new challenge. Even before that, I taught high schoolers with learning disabilities in Illinois, so I've had experience across the board. I am currently going to graduate school to receive a masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. My current district does not provide curriculum for my students, so I use their IEP goals as well as the Common Core State Standards in order to give them the best education they can get. I hope my products can help you in your classroom as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We mostly work in small groups in my classroom (one adult to one or two students). We do individual workboxes in the morning and a whole group calendar and snack. All of my children mainstream for specials such as PE, music, and art.
