I have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra Lab in Indiana.
I am a big believer in using positive reinforcement and building student confidence when it comes to teaching Mathematics. First and foremost, I like to design lesson materials that are engaging and visually appealing to maintain student attention. From there, I like to use scaffolding, guided discussions, teamwork activities, humor, and discourse to develop an open classroom environment where students are comfortable in expressing their ideas. My materials help to develop student confidence by engaging prior knowledge and by scaffolding towards newer information.

I currently reside in Indiana and I am going on my third year of teaching high school level mathematics. I love teaching and helping students to develop an interest in Mathematics. Outside of teaching I have a strong passion for music and other hobbies. In my free time I enjoy playing with jazz bands, hiking, traveling, and Ballroom Dancing.
