TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra Lab in Indiana.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a big believer in using positive reinforcement and building student confidence when it comes to teaching Mathematics. First and foremost, I like to design lesson materials that are engaging and visually appealing to maintain student attention. From there, I like to use scaffolding, guided discussions, teamwork activities, humor, and discourse to develop an open classroom environment where students are comfortable in expressing their ideas. My materials help to develop student confidence by engaging prior knowledge and by scaffolding towards newer information.
