TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 3rd grade for two years in Arkansas City, Kansas.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe it is important for teachers to have a love for teaching and a love for children. My teaching style is interactive and relational. I believe students need to be up and moving, interacting with one another, as well as with the teacher. I also believe building a personal relationship with students is important and helps foster their learning.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Physical Education from Missouri State University.

Directly following college, my husband and I moved to Arkansas City, Kansas to become teachers. My husband is a high school P.E. and health teacher and a coach for both high school football and track. I taught 3rd grade for two years and am now a stay at home mom to our newest addition Marshall Timothy! I love creating lessons and organization makes me happy! :)
