It is hard to believe but this is my 27th year of teaching. I have taught a few years in kindergarten but most have been in the first grade setting.
I believe that each child has a specific learning style that works best for them. So my teaching style is a reflection of this. I enjoy meeting children where they are and helping them grow at their own rate.
I recently received a reward for 25 years of service in teaching. My biggest award and honor has been and always will be being a mom!
I earned my bachelors of education at Indiana State University and my master at Indiana Purdue of Fort Wayne Indiana.
I try to balance teaching and being a mom. My biggest joy is my church and my family. I enjoy bike riding and fishing with my husband and children aged 12 and 15. Our school has recently went to one to one iPads so many of my educational products will reflect this. I find no matter how many years you teach there is always more you can learn.
