TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My learning experience includes eight years of living in West Africa and learning four languages using four different methods. My teaching includes literacy classes in three different languages and I am currently teaching in an intensive language program in Kansas. I have been here for four years and have taught beginning ESL students the past two years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style would be best described as teach a topic or vocabulary then allow students multiple opportunities to practice what we have covered. As they do work in class or at home, I take note of the problems they have then create another worksheet/homework or practice to correct the issue.
