I have over 17 years of teaching experience in the public school setting. I've taught Head Start, First Grade, and Second grade. I do enjoy teaching the lower primary grades.
I believe strongly in classroom management, teaching students to be prepared, and well organized. All students learn differently, as a teacher I must provide many opportunities and different methods of teaching styles. So, I can reach all learners and engage their curiosity.
Well, it's an honor for me to be able to teach every school year.
I've earned degrees in Early Childhood Education, Human Development, and I have my Professional Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
Besides my love of teaching, I'm a mom to a beautiful daughter who has a rare genetic syndrome called 9P- Syndrome. Raising a child with special needs has taught me so much. It has given me many different life experiences that I would have never imagined. For example, I currently have the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors for Chromosome 9P- Network as their secretary. I know personally Bella has made me a better person and which made me a teacher.
