Beth Carter is a Speech Language Pathologist with 26 years of experience in both the clinical and educational setting. She also is an instructor at the community college level where she teaches Children’s Literature and Language and Literacy Experiences. She regularly utilizes children’s literature during her therapy to improve expressive and receptive language development. Beth and her husband live in Statesville N.C. and they have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren as well as 2 dogs and a cat. Beth fell in love with sea shells as a child when her family lived at the beach for a summer. This story is a product of her love of children and shells.
I believe that all children are able to learn and it is up to educators and parents to work together to discover each child's learning style.
