TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught freshmen through senior year of high school English and companion reading and writing courses for fourteen years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in a classroom of interaction and inquiry. I promote students getting to know each other through literature and enabling them to respond to the text in this manner as well. I appreciate the aspects of English teaching that are conducive to group formats with pairs, small group and full classroom discussions.
