TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught grades K-4th. I have not taught Kindergarten and Fourth for many years. I have taught grades 1-3 for the majority of my teaching career.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use lots of games to teach and reinforce skills. I try to find ways to make sure all students master all subject areas. Students must be interested in their learning, so I try to match my teaching to my students' learning styles.

I have taught for 30 years. I am beginning my 21st year in Oklahoma City Public School, teaching 1st grade. I have taught 1st grade for the past 6 years. Before that I taught 2nd and 3rd grades for many years. In my spare time, I like to work in my yard and sew. I love to read as well.
