TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been an Adjunct Professor at UCLA Extension since 2001. I was awarded Distinguished Instructor of 2010 by Dean Cathy Sandeen. I also lecture for UCLA Anderson Business School and USC. I wrote the first-ever curriculum for Social Media Marketing for a college campus in 2008. My book, The Power of Real-Time Social Media Marketing, was published by McGraw-Hill in 2011. I spent 14 years at Xerox Corporation and have run my own businesses since 2000. I blog for the Huffington Post.

I am a 'real-world' professor. As a business person teaching other business people and working adults, I strive to provide practical information that will add value immediately. I use a combination of lecture, media, guest speakers, discussion, class exercises and more to make it interesting and create teachable moments
