Beverley Lynn Kelly Artist/Educator Bev designs student art lessons with easy steps to follow steps for all age groups and abilities. She has been teaching art classes since 1991. She integrates art across the curriculum and especially connecting these projects with great reads. She creates lessons for all levels of ability including special needs students, visually impaired and blind students, young and old. Students are encouraged to freely express their personal style in the work they produce. Bev has experience in many different styles, techniques and materials over many years. In her own work as an artist, Bev paints with vivid colors & textures inspired by nature. She enjoys blending natural forms with illustrative qualities using images captured during travel & adventure. Her inspiration comes from family, friends & other artists, her travel & study of Art & Art History in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, & various parts of Europe. In Bev’s own paintings, she prefers to work in acrylic for its immediacy and clean elements and bold, flowing lines. She incorporates a variety of mixed media elements such as found objects, collage elements, and organic items in her abstract paintings. Her works have evolved to include bold lines with repetitive shapes and subjective colors (often thoughtfully chosen to match interior spaces). Bev is drawn to nature, water, movement and abstraction. She sets out to capture their essence in her work. Her interests in rendering Art span some years and include drawing, printmaking, painting, mosaics, paper sculpture, scenic construction, and murals. She has been an ardent & perpetual learner on a quest to pass on to her own students her newfound knowledge in a variety of art forms. Through each individual project, students can express their personal narrative & creative energy. Bev’s intention is to capture her students’ attention and engage them in learning through the arts! www.bevkellyfineart.com - firstname.lastname@example.org
