I have taught in public schools for over 20 years, primarily as a grade 4 teacher in California. I was instrumental in the creation of our science (now STEAM) lab. I have coordinated our grade 4 and 5 science fair for the last 11 years. I have designed science and engineering activities for our family science and engineering night as well as art activities for our family art night.
I enjoy teaching art and science. I love it when I can combine the two. The more hands on experiences I can provide for my students, the better! Students learn best when they are engaged and curious to know more.
