TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As a 10 year teaching veteran, I have experience teaching English Language Arts to middle school and high school students in both inner city schools and suburban schools. I am certified to teach Gifted and Talented students, and I have worked in schools as the GT English Language Arts instructor. I have experience as a curriculum planner and writer for the Irving ISD school district.

MY TEACHING STYLE

21st century classrooms should be learner centered, collaborative, and rigorous. Technology should be weaved throughout the units to ensure student learning is relevant and applicable.
