I started teaching in Spain 7 years ago after I graduated from the University. After a year, I moved back to the USA and got a job teaching 1st grade Spanish/English Dual Language. I loved it! Most recently, I have moved to a 3rd grade position in a full Spanish Immersion program where the challenges, the great school atmosphere, and the wonderful students in my classes keep me motivated and happy to be a teacher!
I like to think that my teaching style is interactive and fun. I do many hands-on-activities in my classroom and give students a lot of different choices during those activities in order to empower them and give them control of their own education and success. I am organized, caring, and try my best to pass those traits to my students through every lesson I teach.
