TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have a passion for teaching students who are language learners, like me! I five year's experiences teaching in a Transitional Bilingual Program and have just begun teaching as a Bilingual Reading Specialist for grades K-5. Finding quality Spanish materials can be a challenge. I would like to share mine with you! My literacy materials are in Spanish, as this is my language of instruction for that subject. During my classroom years, I taught Math in English and that is why you will find those resources here as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I find it especially important to promote critical thinking in students. This skill will never leave them and will never cease to be important.
