I have been teaching for over 30 years and remain a passionate educator. After graduating from a primary (elementary) school teaching degree, I began my career at a small country school on Phillip Island, Australia. There I taught my first class, a composite Year 1/ Year 2 class. I have since had a varied career, having taught from K-12, Higher Education and Adult Education in Australia or Japan. I love creating resources to meet the different needs of the students I teach. Over my long career in Education, I have seen the positive results when students are involved in engaging, interactive activities. I aim to continually create these type of resources to assist students in developing a love of learning.

I believe the most powerful teaching style is getting to know your students; their strengths and weaknesses, their likes and dislikes and their hopes and fears. You can then provide a nurturing environment for students to thrive and deliver appropriate curriculum and resources.
