This is my 7th year teaching Kindergarten at a high-poverty school in Wisconsin (the Green Bay area).
Kindergarteners learn through hands-on experiences. It is so important that we build a strong foundation of experiences, knowledge, and a love of learning at such a young age!
My school has been recognized with the International Literacy Award (ILA) during the 2014-2015 school year, as well as the PBIS merit award!
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in December of 2010. This will be my 7th year teaching kindergarten, all in the same building.
I always say that teaching kindergarten is not only a career, but a hobby as well! I also enjoy scrapbooking, taking pictures, making crafts, reading, and camping and traveling with my husband!
