My goal through my children's book series and supplemental materials is to aid teachers, educators and caregivers in building trusting relationships with their students or children. These materials are designed to open up conversations to support their emotional wellbeing. In the classroom, it's hard to overcome the stresses of preparing for standardized tests and academic accomplishments without first supporting the child on an emotional, social and relationship building level.

Created by mom and former elementary teacher Lauren Piland, the mission of Blooming Rose is to engage and entertain children of all ages in wondrous stories surrounding the main character, Rose, her best friend Brady, little brother Rex, and a host of other friends, while using real experiences to model healthy emotional support.
