TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Presently I am teaching in the public school system. I have been privileged to teach in Independent Schools, to teach music privately and for music companies and to home school my own children partly along the way.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Varying my teaching style to meet the needs of students to the best of my ability is the main goal. Young students love being encouraged to do their best.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have graduated from Education training with First Class Honours.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree as a music major I continued with a year of studies in Linguistics and earned a TESL Certificate. From there I went into an Education Program to become certified as a teacher.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have never forgotten my grade 2 teacher. She inspired me to want to play the piano. And I did!

Teachers Pay Teachers
