At the age of five I decided I wanted to be a teacher ... if the whole princess thing didn't work out. Despite the fact that my husband is in fact prince charming, I became a teacher anyway. So here I am, about to begin my seventh year of teaching, and looking forward to what the year will bring.
I believe in establishing a relationship with each student and building upward. My building tools of choice: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I do my best to guide my students through the tough valleys and rejoice with them on the mountain peaks.
I am honored with hugs, fist bumps, high-fives, and the occasional hand-made card. In addition to these priceless awards, I was recently a finalist for the Excellence in Education award.
I have my Bachelor's Degree in English, secondary teaching as well as my teaching credential.
