I have been a mentor in an early childhood setting, and have taught Junior Achievement to first grade. Once I got into my teaching career, I taught 4th grade math, 1st/2nd grade ELA, Math and Guided Reading.
I really like doing activities that get the objective to the students, but most importantly that incorporates the many learning styles that are observed in my classroom. I also like in my classroom when students can question each other, teacher other, and LEARN from EACH OTHER!

- graduated high school with honors and an advanced diploma (no big deal : ) ) - graduated college, where I actually studied social work (also with honors, which is also not a big deal : ) ) - I would love the chance to earn my masters in social work so that I could combine the effectiveness and resourcefulness that I see if social work, with the role that education has in our children's lives.
- love pugs - purple is my favorite color - phillies is my baseball team - and I am obsessed with the 60's and 70's, don't know why it was just a groovy time to be alive!
