I have taught a variety of grades ranging from 3rd through Master Courses for adult learners. Most of my primary teaching is in 3rd and 6th grades. I have also taught college course in introduction to teaching, curriculum design, technology in the classroom, differentiated instruction, and multimedia in the classroom.
Teachers are defenders of the society in which they live. It is the responsibility of an educator to produce individuals that do more than just take their place in society. It is my hope that once students leave my class behind they will take with them qualities that will help them be productive, responsible, even remarkable members of the society in which they choose to live. Students in my class are praised for their curiosity and creativity. They are taught to harness their skills and care for the environment that sustains them and their fellow humans, no matter what their differences.
