TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a brand new licensed teacher who is deeply passionate about education. I just finished my first year of teaching in 7th grade math! I have previously been given the opportunity to long-term sub in multiple classrooms in grades 7-12 mathematics, and have subbed in many content areas and grade levels. In my free-time, I am fulfilling my desire to create and plan by making new products for my TPT store!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strongly believe in 'Teaching Why'. I teach and reinforce concepts by asking students how they reach an answer and why the answer is appropriate. I like to incorporate hands-on activities into my plug and chug practice for students to use what they learn in real-world settings.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I am a recent graduate licensed in Elementary Educations and Middle School Math.

I believe that mathematics, and more specifically, problem-solving, is the key to success in life! I strive to make learning and practicing math fun, creative, and relevant for my students. I also create interdisciplinary activities to help students use problem-solving skills in all areas of learning, and life.
