I have over 6 years experience as a special educational teacher in elementary schools. During this time, I've worked with gifted children, specific learning disabilities, language impairments, autistic students, behavioral students, and more. Additionally, I have been a mental health therapist working in the school system for 6 years. As a therapist I have worked with K-12th grade students. As a teacher I have worked with K-5th grade. I love my job and enjoy being around kids.
I teacher a variety of grades in a variety of settings. I have done inclusion, learning centers, and small group settings. Being in special education, I have to think about differentiation instruction.
Completed the Leadership Academy course in the summer of 2017.

I'm married and I have a 2 year old child that teaches me new things daily.
