I am a mother and licensed acupuncturist with a background in psychology. I began by creating guided visualizations for my family and for my patients. After seeing great results in those realms, Brains in Training was a natural progression. Mindfulness for schools is a passion of mine. I have worked closely with elementary school teachers and a network of parents to develop these 3 to 5 minute guided visualizations for the classroom!

"Brains in Training recordings are a perfect addition to my classroom routines! After listening to and participating in these guided visualizations, I find that students are more focused on their work, cooperative, relaxed and confident. Topics are categorized, easy to use in the classroom, and only take a few minutes."

"Thank you so so much for the visualizations. They worked so well during PARCC. I hope that they will work in the future!"

"I started using Brains in Training this past spring with my rowdy, energetic first grade class. The short audio clips were amazing in helping them calm down after recess and create smoother transitions. In addition, quite a few arguments between friends that were initially heated and intense were resolved more quickly, and the students developed tools to deal with their hurt feelings. Brains in Training has been a wonderful addition to my teaching repertoire. I highly recommend it to any educator searching for a way to teach students how to mindfully handle situations and emotions that flood their lives on a day to day basis."
