I have been a teacher for 11 years at inner city title one schools, a suburban charter school, and a title one school with a high EL population. I have taught 1st grade (3 years), 2nd grade (7 years), 3rd grade (1 year) and 4th grade (a semester).
I love having my students work in cooperative groups. I believe in hands on learning and the use of manipulatives to allow students to create meaning for themselves.

I'm super excited to have a TpT store and a blog. I look forward to sharing and creating ideas for classroom use. Please feel free to visit my blog: http://successinsecondgrade.blogspot.com
