I have an Ed.S in curriculum and instruction, a Master's in reading instruction, and a Bachelor's in early elementary education. I have taught for 7 years in first grade at an elementary school in Georgia..
My favorite style of teaching is student lead discussion. I love to hear the ideas of the students and how they view what they are learning. I also love to see the light bulbs go off when they finally hear something that makes sense. Who better to teach and communicate with kids than kids themselves. When we teach we learn.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I continued my education and received a Master's Degree in Reading Instruction and a Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction. I am ESOL endorsed and will finish a three year SIOP course this year. I also have a certificate from the Schlechty Center in leadership.
This is my eighth year teaching and I love it! I taught 1st grade for 7 years and have entered into the wonderful world of ESOL this year working with 4th and 5th grade. I was a little nervous at first but I am enjoying it. I have a wonderful husband of 6 years and 3 adorable children (4, 2, and 6 months). I live to serve the one true God in everything I do. Although I fall short more often than not, my goal is to work for Him.
