TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a certified Math/Science teacher. I started teaching in the NC public school system for 4 years, followed by 4 years of private school education in PR. When my son was born I "retired" from teaching and started a math tutoring business in my home so I could be with him during the daytime. 17 months later we welcomed boy/girl twins and so I'm a full-time mom and part-time worksheet creater.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching approach to math is that you need some hands-on activities to keep them interested, some repetition to keep it in their memory, a lot of patience to keep yourself sane, and a lot of energy to keep up with them.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I studied Mathematical Science with a concentration in Computer Science at UNC-Chapel Hill.

I feel like my true calling is writing supplemental material. TeachersPayTeachers gives me the opportunity to stay home with my kids, and still pursue my work/hobby.
