TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Time flies when you're having fun! I've taught fourth grade for more than 30 years and love it more now than ever. My mission is to create enjoyable, engaging, standards-based materials for my classroom and yours.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Every day in the classroom, I strive to engage each student in challenging, meaningful work. To accomplish this, I use differentiated texts and activities. My students love digging into science experiments and websites, connecting ideas, and exploring with independent learning modules.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I'm proud to be a National Board Certified Teacher (Middle Childhood Generalist) and have received three special awards: Lilly Teacher Creativity Fellow, Crystal Apple Award Winner, and Lake Central Teacher of the Year.
