2 years in kindergarten, 13 years in 1st grade, and 2 years in 3rd grade! I've also taught Spanish to grades K-3 in an enrichment program, as well as Spanish and writing courses to educators. I've served as a mentor to new teachers and have hosted 5 student teachers and many student observers.
Learning can be a lot of fun. I try to incorporate movement, song, cooperative learning, and problem-solving as much as I can. My goal is to differentiate my lessons to target the most students. I love to laugh and be silly when it helps my students to remember a concept.
