18 year veteran English Language Arts, Social Studies, History and Creative Publishing.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student experience and discussion based style. I write with my students and share my own work with them to show them the struggles and triumphs of writing. I use mentor texts of many genres as well as those that I have created.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Norman Mailer 2013 Teacher's of English - Creative Non-fiction National Semi-finalist. Published in Montana Mouthful’s 1st Issue - 2/14/2018. Won the Silver Needle Press fiction contest and published 6/11/2018. The Peregrine Journal will publish a flash fiction piece of mine in the fall of 2018.
