TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 12th grade British literature for six years. I have also taught summer school Language Arts for 7th and 8th grade students. I currently design curriculum for a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping underprivileged students in grades 7-12 develop decision-making and critical thinking skills.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I care deeply that students can read, write, and think critically. I also want them to enjoy their learning. My assignments combine in-depth inquiries with creative activities that help students relate their lives and world to the literature.
