TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Thanks to my parents, I've lived in a musical environment my entire life. For the past 11 years I've taught K-5 General Music and Chorus.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Years of searching have led me to appreciate many approaches to teaching. My foundations are First Steps in Music & Conversational Solfege. I'm Orff Level 1 certified and I HOPE to learn more! Responsive Classroom is my go to for classroom management. I love the concepts of intrinsic motivation and mutual respect that RC is founded on.
