I have been a fourth grade teacher for 3 years in North Carolina. I am moving up to fifth grade this year!
I am all about making my classroom a fun environment. We use "The Walking Classroom" (if you haven't heard of it, check it out!), sit on stability balls, and like to play a lot of games! I also prefer to teach in centers or groups versus whole group instruction. I feel I get more time with each of my students this way and can see what they understand and pin point what they do not.

I am a fifth grade teacher, married to a fourth/fifth grade teacher! Can you imagine what our dinner conversations consist of? However, I am so lucky and fortunate to have a husband who understands the every day joys and challenges of my career. We have a sweet dog, who we both are way too obsessed with, named Olive.
