TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching mathematics for 7 years. I have taught and created the curriculum for 7th grade math and 8th grade Geometry. I have also taught Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. In addition to teaching, I have coached high school girls basketball for the past 6 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in a comfortable yet structured learning environment where the students feel confident in asking questions and being involved in discussions. I believe in teaching beyond the textbook and helping the students to not only be good students but good people as well. I think a variety of different activities/projects can help keep the students' interest and thus help them to retain the information.
