TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 29years. 24 of those years were in 6th grade. I have taught all subjects, but mostly math. I teach 1st-3rd grade Sunday School, and I have done so for over 10 years. I have taught and directed VBS as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to integrate my lessons, and give students lots of projects to display their creative side along with the academic side.

I am Nationally Board Certified. I have been The Teacher of the Year for my School. I have been The Math Teacher of the Year for my county.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Wingate College where I earned my Intermediate Education degree. I obtained my Master's of Education from UNCC as well as my AIG licensure.

I am married and have 3 wonderful children. I am currently teaching AIG math students in the 2nd-5th grade for my county.
