Meg from Mrs. Browne's Bunch was a Kindergarten teacher before she was called up to Middle School to teach science. During the summer, she works as a coordinator for a local camp that works with 2.5-4 year old campers. Meg's additional responsibilities include tutoring for SAT/ACT and Academic Assistance for at-risk students.
In her classroom, Mrs. Browne inspires students to love learning through hands on activities. She is a firm believer in letting students practice and show what they know. When you walked into Mrs. Browne's Kindergarten classroom, you saw a Makers Space filled with STEAM materials. Now that she is teaching Middle School Science, you will see students hard at work learning about our planet Earth and the solar system we live in. Meg teaches using hands on approaches and collaborative activities in middle school.
Meg presented at SDE's New Jersey Kindergarten Conference this past February on Bringing STEAM into Literacy! She was honored by her district to receive Teacher of the Year during the 2018-19 school year.
Meg went to Rowan University for Elementary Education and a Liberal Arts Degree in Math & Science. While attending, she student taught in an honors program within an urban school district. Meg is certified Elementary Education (K-6) and Highly Qualified Middle School Math and Middle School Science (5-8).
