I have been a teacher for 27 years with the bulk of my experience in Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten and 1st grade. I have a specialist in Special Education and Religious Studies. My passion is creating and implementing units of study and mentoring other teachers.
I love to engage students actively in the learning process. I believe strongly that education should be student-centered and that children learn through both individual discovery and teacher facilitated lessons. I believe it's important to keep students engaged with hands-on activities and materials which lead them to further explore topics on their own. It is important for learners to question and then be given the tools and materials necessary to push forward.
To be completed at a later date.
