I was hired in 1993 and have been in the same classroom ever since! I wouldn't have it any other way...it is my 2nd home and that classroom is part of me. I specialize in teaching Office Administration classes, Computer Apps., Internet Marketing, Desktop Publishing, and Microsoft Certification classes.
Hands on! I am very much old school and I don't apologize for that. I use bell ringers to spark their interest, I teach the concept, model the concept, give in-depth details, then the students use the skills, concepts, and/or material to "do" something. I run all of my classrooms like a business. I call them "employees" and "business leaders." My classroom has traditional office desks (with locks/key), each desk has in/out trays and real, working telephones, and ergonomic chairs complete our office. We are very real while learning!
