TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have spent the past five years of my career teaching in small, rural communities. I teach high school ELA and coordinate a program to help at-risk students be successful in high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in student centered learning. I want students to question texts on a deep level and then go find the answers to those questions. I encourage student-to-student interaction and believe that reading, writing, and discussion all need to work together to create literate citizens.
