The 2013-14 school year is my third year teaching; I spent one year working in Montessori early childhood education, and this is my second year teaching upper elementary in a private school. I am really excited about advancing my career and continuing to learn all of the wonderful aspects of teaching.
I am a very bubbly, cheerful teacher who maintains a strict discipline policy in the classroom. I believe in keeping students constantly engaged and specialize in differentiated instruction within lessons. Children's opinions and input are a valuable, sought-after resource in my classroom, and I always seek new ideas and new ways to do things.
I graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a BA in English Language and Literature and an emphasis on Analytical Writing. I am preparing to begin a Master's in Education soon.
I am here to create a classroom calendar revolution! If you're bored of zebra stripes and bee-themed elementary school classroom calendars, you've come to the right place. I am currently stocking my inventory of affordable, printable classroom wall calendars, weather, and weekday charts in fun, exciting themes that teachers actually use! If there is a theme you'd like to request, send me a note! Check out my seasonal and holiday activity packets, too!
