This is a parody of Brave by Sara Bareilles. I wrote this parody to help review our school PBIS expectations in a more fun and creative way. The students loved to have a new way of reviewing those expectations - plus it gets stuck in their head! :)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

2 years of Kindergarten teaching in Indiana. 2 years teaching 4th grade in Michigan. Currently teaching special education (3rd-10th grade) at a behavior facility in Indiana.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is all about relationships with the students! We have fun in our room. We move around the room, students always have a choice to sit on the floor with pillows to read or do work. My classroom always has quiet instrumental music playing, and I NEVER turn my overhead lights on - just lamps! I find it creates a calm environment that promotes comfort and relieves anxieties. I use music in my class as much as I can.
